Five days `til school starts.

It's official. I am now a bona fide student enrolled in UP Manila for the Second Semester, AY 2006-2007. Never been happier to hold a freshly printed Form 5. Hee hee.

Wala lang. Enrollment was such a hassle. Something screwed up on our enrollment date and we were forced to come back the next day. Bummer.

Well, I managed to get past the first semester with a 2.5 as my lowest grade. Yehey!

I'll aim higher this time, of course.

Oh, and congratulations to

Mafe Bautista, Marrah Comia, and Aldous Latonio
~ College Scholars [at least a GWA of 1.75, baby!]~

Rouchel Briones and Lariza Francia
~ University Scholars [at least a 1.45!]~

Ibang level talaga.

Tao ba kayo??

Joke lang.

Grabe. Idol ko sila. Ever.

------------------------------------------

So, what has Sandy been doing for the past few days?

1. Sleep.

2. Eat.

3. http://riddle.p4x.ch/start/ <== This will make your head hurt. If you're looking for something to do that involves several hours just staring at the monitor, this is for you.

4. Roswell. Oh, Roswell.

------------------------------------------

Alright. Here I go. You can stop reading now.

Fine. Read on, for all I care. It's just junk though.

......

I had watched roughly ten episodes of Entourage [which is hilarious, by the way], when I saw three DVDs in my Mom's room. So...

"Ma, ano to?"

"Ah, yan. Roswell. It's a show about teenage aliens or something. You'll like it."

"Teenage aliens. Ooookkaaaayyy."

I was never really a fan of Sci-Fi. I mean, Smallville didn't work for me.

But I thought I'd give Roswell a shot. So I watched its first episode.

Six days later, I had finished all three seasons. That's like, 61 episodes. Roughly 46 hours.

And it's quite obvious that the series has taken over my life. Otherwise, I wouldn't even be writing a blog entry about it, would I?

I don't even know the reasons why I got hooked. [Although Jason Behr and Brendan Fehr are definitely deciding factors]

It's a bit Sci-Fi, but not to the point where it gets all geeky and Star Trek-y.

It's about Liz Parker, an ordinary girl in Roswell. She gets shot and dies. [Some first episode, huh?]

Then this guy Max Evans brings her back to life. But in doing so, he exposes the truth that he isn't human.

So yeah. It basically revolves around Max and his other alien friends. You know, avoiding the FBI [who want to study them and tear them apart], and saving the Earth from otherworldly creatures who want to take over the planet-- that kind of stuff.

It's nice. Comedy, drama, action.

Argh.

Alright fine. It's a love story as well.

Sometimes it's way too cheesy. But I tell you, this series has some scenes that make to want you go "Awww......that's cute".

I have to admit, the romance is nice. Get that from an emotional brick wall such as myself. Haha.

Okay. Enough with the ridiculous TV series review.

Bye now.
